MILITARY SPECIFICATION
GUIDED WEAPON CONTROL
GROUP OK-293A/AWW
This specification is approved for use by the Naval Air Systems Command,
Department of the Navy and is available for use by all departments and
agencies of the Department of Defense.
1.1 Scope. This specification establishes the design, performance, and
acceptance requirements for the OK-293A/AWW Control Group, Guided Weapon,
herein after referred to as the control group. The control group consists of
Control, Guided Weapon C-9743A/AWW (Joystick) and Converter, Control Signals
C-3248A Electronic Package). The control group is to be located in the
aircraft and is to interface with the Guided Weapon Control-MWtm Sets
AN/AWW-7B, or AN/AWW-9 (Pod) to provide post-launch cockpit control for
retargeting and steering of the WALLEYE. Data link Guided Weapon. The control
group also provides proportional dc voltage inputs to the AN/ASN-91 computer.
1.2 Associated equipment. The control group operates with the associated
equipment listed steal in 6.4.
2.1 Government documents.
2.1.1 Specifications, standards, and handbooks. Unless otherwise
specified, the following specifi cations, and standards of the issue listed in
that issue of Department of Defense Index of Specifications and Standards
(DoDISS) specified in the solicitation form a part of this specification to
the extent specified herein.
